There is a certain freedom in directing character-driven scripts, often leading to fresh visual ideas and unexpected moments. Whether working with street cast or well-known talent, my focus is always on shaping strong characters and bringing out performances that feel honest, memorable and grounded.
I also enjoy the technical side of filmmaking. My post-production background allows me to design practical setups, complex slow-motion sequences and integrated VFX in a way that supports performance rather than overshadowing it. Finding the right technical solution to elevate a moment is something I genuinely enjoy.
While I have a soft spot for ideas that lean into the unusual, I am equally comfortable directing authentic, human performances. From lo-fi found footage to polished CinemaScope campaigns, I aim to create work that feels distinctive, cinematic and emotionally grounded.
